“Many years ago, as I lay in the emergency room of a hospital in Northern Michigan, I had a life altering thought. Why do we wait until our bodies break to treat them well?” This profound realization launched a lifelong quest of self-care and various modalities of holistic and natural health and healing. Over the last 20+ years Kathy has been schooled and trained in areas of iridology, herbology, neutraceuticals, creative healing, essential oils and Foot Zone Therapy. Her philosophy is that prevention and early detection, associated with appropriate treatment, can lead to a long, healthy, vibrant and energized life.
After years of studying other modalities, Kathy feels that Foot Zone Therapy is the culmination of all she has learned and worked with. When she first had this realization, she decided to make it her full-time career and life’s work. When Kathy opened shop as a Foot Zone Therapist it was only a short year before she had people waiting a month to get an appointment with her. Her practice has continued to thrive simultaneous with the development of the Academy. Kathy has taught many students Foot Zone Therapy, and is currently working to expand the Academy to an international level.
Kathy lives in a beautiful and rustic home in Northern Utah with her husband Mike, Border Collie Pepper and 4 Missouri Fox Trotter horses. Her six grandchildren are serious part time residents coming in from Florida and Washington often. She has used her knowledge of health to stay strong and vibrant herself, and enjoys an active and fulfilling life.
Kathy is committed to assisting people who are sincerely interested in their overall health and wellness to achieve the benefits of optimum health. Sharing the benefits of Zoning with others has enhanced her life fulfillment greatly. “This has become and will remain my life’s work.”

Christine graduated with Honors from Utah State University, where she studied Philosophy, and worked post bachelorette as a Student Advisor and Interim Director of Multicultural Student Services for eight years. After graduating, Christine founded Lighthouse Presentations, a program for empowering and instilling self-esteem and awareness in youth. Through her work with Student Services, and Lighthouse Presentations, she learned firsthand the power of positive thought and its influence on the outcome of the healing process. This in turn guided her towards the healing arts.
In 1997, Cade, Christine’s eldest son, was diagnosed with neonatal lupus. After seeking traditional western medical advice, and after having Cade subjected to excessive testing with little success, she and her mother Kathy sought the healing power of Foot Zone Therapy. Cade became miraculously symptom free. What a blessing that was. The efficacy of Foot Zone Therapy during her son’s illness set Christine and her mother on the path of learning to practice Foot Zone Therapy, so that others might also have a chance of improved health.
Since that time Christine has practiced and studied Foot Zone Therapy for over ten years. In 2004 she moved to Everett, Washington and has made it her passion and full-time profession. In addition she has studied aroma therapy, energy work, the medicinal and therapeutic functions of vitamins, nutrition, and herbs, all of which she incorporates into her practice of Foot Zone Therapy as a holistic approach to natural healing. Christine enjoys dancing, horseback riding, singing, and spending time with her two children, Cade and Tia. She owns and operates Vitality Zone, also in Everett, which is her private practice, and will eventually grow it into a broad based wellness clinic, featuring Massage therapists, herbalists, nutritionists, and a range of homeopathic and naturopathic practitioners. Her commitment is to be working full-time teaching and growing the Academy of Foot Zone Therapy. |
